In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symbol.”
I could write millions of things about it. But the one I keep on thinking lately, it’s how much I miss the back old days as a kid, when me and my friends used to hang out inside at night, once we easily climbed over the fence. A mix of dark, quiet, and air that smelled of history. One of the best memories I got.
You grew up surrounded by beauty.. not bad 😉

Gianluca! Your symbol of your city is absolutely iconic! The Coliseum is one of the most recognized in the world…And as a kid, you’d hang out inside? Incredible! “Dark, quiet and air that smelled like history”…what lovely words!
Cheers!

Thank you Lia! 🙂 Yes, we used to do that very often, it’s not possible anymore. It was a different period, when security wasn’t so tight, no cameras and all. But we weren’t bad guys though! Just a bunch of kids who found a bent fence, and we weren’t the only ones! Apparently a lot of people knew that trick, because sometimes I reckoned there was more people inside at night than during the day! Ah ah I miss those good back old days! 🙂
