US Road Trip 2016, Day 15,16,17,18. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

I gotta say,  it’s pretty hard trying to put in words what a great feeling I felt last four days, camping in Yellowstone. How can you explain the sensation you feel while watching a pack of wolves from a distance, the Hayden Valley in front of you like a theater, and on screen a live National Geographic documentary?!

Or when you just turn around and find a buffalo wandering behind you in the middle of the street like it’s completely normal.

Or again when driving,  while the sun is slowly coming up, your headlights light up a big elk eating grass along the roadside.

All of this happening in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, among hundreds of waterfalls, rivers, meadows, creeks and then geysers, fumaroles and breathtaking views.

Well, I guess I can’t. I’m just gonna let the images speak for me.

Take it easy guys. And go to Yellowstone.

US Road Trip 2016 – Days 13 & 14, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

I’m certainly making the most out of this trip, if we’re talking about National Parks. Grand Teton is the seventh Park I’ve visited so far and I still have one more to visit. And the reason Teton is not so famous is just because it’s too close to the very star of the American National Parks. Or of the world for that matter. Yellowstone. But you couldn’t tell this if you happen to visit Grand Teton, because is full of tourists from all around the world, and for a reason. It offers spectacular views and lots of wildlife too watch. Not that it’s easy, but it might even happen to spot a bear. It happened to me and it was fantastic to see it into its natural environment. I stayed just a couple of days but the Park deserved more. Besides, I’m hiking a lot for a guy like me who’s never done it before. But I’m so happy I got to see all of those incredible Parks, and the Grand Teton is a great part of them.

Take it easy guys!

US Road Trip 2016 – Days 11 & 12, Salt Lake City, Utah

Nothing too much exciting about these two days in the capital of the Utah, though it turned out to be nicer than I thought. I had planned these two days of break in Salt Lake City to rest a bit and reorganize, since tomorrow I’m going up north to Wyoming, where I’ll spend six days in a row camping inside both  the Teton and Yellowstone National Park.

So I spend the first day riding my bike across the city center, which is more live than I expected it to be, and the second buying some groceries I’m going to need while camping, and having my laundry done. Something that in travel this long, at a certain point you have to do.  But I shot two clips anyway, cause I’m finding them very useful even for me. Putting all on clips, I’m deleting all the video files on my phone. I got a feeling the next days I’m gonna need all the memory storage available.

Take care guys!

US Road Trip 2016 – Day 10, Bryce Canyon National Park

Well, Bryce Canyon. There wouldn’t be much else to add. Just come visit if you get any chance. I admit when I planned this trip I had some expectations, but I had never thought these Parks could have made me feel all of these sensations I’ve been feeling since I got here. And Bryce Canyon got right away at the top of the list of my more memorable days. I think my face in the clip shows exactly how I felt overwhelmed by all that beauty. By the way, I found in hiking a pleasure I never thought I could have found before in an activity like that. Well, it goes without saying though, hiking in those kinds of places couldn’t be otherwise. That said, I’ve found a world and people unknown to me before. I’ve met so many hikers along the way, from all around the world, and had so many nice chats and shared moments with them, during the hikes or in the campgrounds. All of them have one thing in common. They’re all nice people. I hope this clip can get you an idea about how breathtaking Bryce Canyon can be. Take it easy guys!

US Road Trip 2016 – Day 9, Capitol Reef National Park, Utah

Another spectacular National Park in Utah, another adventure. I think I might have found a new hobby. Hiking. Hiking in Utah though, is a completely different story. Much nicer. This time though, I missed a mark and went the wrong way for over a mile. I got it when I realized I was the only human being in a mile radius in the middle of a desert of rocks. Then I went back and eventually found the right way with the company of an American girl that was hiking. We ended up then, spending the night together, admiring the milky way in one of the darkest places on the Earth. Capitol Reef National Park. That’s Utah guys.

US Road Trip 2016 – Day 7 and Day 8, Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park

These last two days have been full of wonders, and that’s something I’d say rather usual,  like any other day here in Utah.
I mean, even when you’re driving it’s a challenge trying to stay focused on the road, because your eyes wander through the surroundings, which in this particular part of Utah where I am right now, are mostly massive red rocks of every possible shape you can think of, and wide deep spectacular canyons.

I knew I was gonna love Utah since I got a glimpse three years ago when I made it here just for a few hours, to see the Monument Valley (which is in Arizona but you make sure to get there from Utah, trust me on this), but what I saw these two days goes beyond what I expected it to be.

Unfortunately being on the road doesn’t leave me to much time to write.

I’ll just say, the Delicate Arch is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Period.

Then I’ll leave you at the two videos I made, while visiting Arches and Canyonlands, hopefully they’ll give some feelings about this incredible places.

Take care!

US Road Trip 2016 – Day 6, Aspen, Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park

Another day on the road, another day full of surprises and wonders. Stunning views everywhere I look all around me.

This is the video of my day, including the ride a sweet elderly couple gave me on my way back to the camp, since I pushed it a little bit too far and pedaling back to the camp was turning into a nightmare…

They saw me sweating my butt off under the rain,  and insisted I took the ride. They were so nice!

Talk to you soon!
