US Road Trip 2016 – Day 2, Rocky Mountain National Park

Second day of my road trip and I decided to make it to the Rocky Mountain National Park, which is about 90 miles from Denver.

I enjoyed the Park and did a little climbing. It was strangely hard and made me wonder what the hell happened in three days that I hadn’t been at the gym. Then I realized I was at 3657 meters above sea level. You know, I’m a city guy, how would I know?!

That was also the reason why I felt a little sick. Nothing really bad, just a weird sensation. It takes a little to get accustomed to the height.

And it was worth it, the Park is beautiful. But again, I didn’t have any doubt.
Driving all around the US is something I surely recommend to anybody who’s fond of landscapes. Unfortunately that is a sensation  I’m pretty sure I can’t make you feel through my pictures, so as soon as you get a chance, go for it.

I tried though, so here’s my results. Great views and mountains everywhere. Rocky Mountain really rock.
