Let’s Get The New Travel Season Started

***  In case you’re wondering, I’m shaving my beard this Thursday, right before          the leaving.

****Same for the hair. I’m gonna look like a 28 year old, I promise.

I’t’s time to go, I’m leaving this Thursday. I’ve been keeping this blog for four months and I haven’t had a travel since. I’m supposed to be a travel blogger, am I? So what was missing in all this deal was a travel, wasn’it? And here it is.

It’s not my first travel of course, still, I’m excited because after a couple of years I’m getting back to solo travels. I already can taste the feeling. As you can read in my “Where I’m going to be” page, I got all the year planned, and my travel season is about to begin. I’m going to Nottingham, UK, flying from Rome to East Midlands by Ryanair. Hell, I hate that company. A 2 hour flight can turn in to a nightmare because of the millions announcements and the cramped space for my legs. But I also love it. A real traveler isn’t picky, he loves low cost. Anyway I just have to resist 2 hours.

I booked 3 nights at the Igloo Hostel in Nottingham. There were only two hostels in the city center, so I didn’t have much of a choice. However the one I chose got pretty good reviews, so I’m confident it’ll be a nice hostel. To get there I’m gonna pick up a car at the airport. I rented it because I’d like to drive around the Midlands. There are many cute little cities and they’re really close to each other, like Derby and Leicester, and I’d love to take a look around. I should go to Birmingham too. The city is not that far from Nottingham (87 km) but I’m going to have just a few hours to visit, so I’ll decide later. If it’s not Birmingham, it’s gonna be Sheffield, which is a little closer (67km) and smaller. I’m told they’re both nice cities.

Now the problem seems to be only one. Seriously British people, I’m talking to you. What the hell were you thinking when you decided it was cool driving on the wrong side of the road?! I’ve been many times in the UK and in Ireland, but I’ve always taken buses to move around. This, is gonna be my first time driving on the wrong side. Annoying, but still a new experience. Let’s just hope I’m not gonna crash the car into a tree somewhere. Screw that, I don’t care. Didn’t somebody say you have to take some chances in your life? Okay, maybe he wasn’t refering to get in a car all messed up. Whatever. That’s what I’ll do.

Since this is gonna be my first travel as a blogger, I’m not sure yet how I’m going to relate to my followers, but I was thinking on more frequent updates and pictures on Facebook. Then if you want to follow me or interact with me during this travel, feel free to like my Facebook Page, I’d really love that. Also, if anyone had anything to suggest me, any advice or tip about the places I’m going to visit, I’d really appreciate it. Till now, my only concern is going to have the more Fish and Chips I can, ’cause I’ve been dreaming of it since my last time in the UK.

That said, I think I’m ready. Let’s get this party started!

Stay tuned guys! And thanks for following!
